Materials and Construction
Construction materials are selected for compatibility with the specific chemical and thermal environment of the application. Carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex alloys, Hastelloy and titanium designs are all available depending on the corrosivity and temperature of the process stream. Modular clamp-together and flanged duct systems are engineered for flexible layout and quick reconfiguration within the facility.
System Integration
System integration is engineered to connect the abatement system to process exhaust points, utility supplies and facility control systems across mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines. Installation is performed by CECO’s own teams or through supervised installation services, with high-level shop assembly of complete systems prior to shipment minimizing field installation time and reducing the risk of installation errors that can affect system performance.
Retrofits and Performance Upgrades
For facilities with existing air pollution control systems that are underperforming, aging or facing tightened permit requirements CECO provides retrofit and upgrade engineering services. This includes performance assessments of existing systems, identification of upgrade options and engineering of modifications that extend system life and restore or improve compliance performance without full system replacement.

Routine maintenance of industrial air pollution control systems is essential to maintaining required destruction and collection efficiency, ensuring ongoing permit compliance and preventing unexpected system failures that cause costly production downtime. CECO provides preventive maintenance programs designed around the specific maintenance requirements of each system type and the operational schedule of the facility.
Fast Repairs and Parts Response
When unplanned system failures occur CECO provides fast repair and parts response to minimize production downtime. CECO maintains parts inventory for its installed system base and can provide emergency technical support to diagnose and resolve system performance issues. For facilities with systems approaching end of life CECO can assess whether repair or replacement is the more cost-effective path based on current system condition, remaining useful life and the cost of the failure modes presenting.
In-House Fabrication and Quality Assurance
CECO industrial air systems are fabricated to engineered specifications with quality assurance procedures applied throughout the manufacturing process. Shop assembly of complete systems prior to shipment, including pre-piping, pre-wiring and internal insulation minimizes field installation time and reduces the risk of installation errors. Factory acceptance testing of controls and mechanical systems prior to shipment confirms system functionality before it reaches the site.
